I have studied dichroic glass making with Robert Clark of Tasmania, Australia in 2004.
More recently, I have worked with stone cabochon and wire wrap guru, John Sarty of Canada.
I find that adding gold filled and sterling silver wire to the dichroic glass and
stone makes for an interesting art statement. I am also a master gardener, and have
a passion for colors in the natural environment, which helps me in my jewelry designs.
Pure colors, with amazing shifts of light and tone are an endless fascination with dichroic
glass and polished stone.

Glenn's Background

Glenn Vondra has been involved in artistic endeavors his entire life.
Born and raised in Iowa, he is a practicing professional architect and an
amateur photographer and artist for the past thirty years. Glenn works
in watercolor and pen & ink, besides the photographic medium. His photography
captures the shapes, colors and textures of both our natural
and man made environments.
